About Wayne
Wayne McKnight is Canadian and has been one of Norway's leading directors and choreographers for many years. A qualified psychodrama instructor, Wayne specializes in the challenges performing artists are faced with in their professional and private lives.
Wayne also offers private sessions for individuals for resolving inner conflict and improving personal relations .
Performing Career
Wayne has acted, sung and danced professionally in London's West End, in theatres in Canada, Scandinavia and the UK and in countless television productions in Europe. He has extensive experience as solo-dancer and choreographer for The Norwegian National Ballet and the Oslo Dance Ensemble as well as Canada's Alberta Ballet.
Director and Choreographer
Wayne McKnight has directed/choreographed numerous musical theatre productions and plays for state and regional theatres in Norway and Sweden. his comic- narrative danceworks have been performed by TheNorwegian National Ballet, Oslo Dance Ensemble, Canada's Alberta Ballet and many other professional and semi-professional dance companies. Wayne has also created numerous comic-narrative danceworks for The Norwegian State Ballet School (KHIO), The Norwegian College of Dance, The BÄrdar Academy and other dance education institutions.
Group Leader
Wayne has lead many group-processes for performing arts schools preparing theatre, dance and opera students for coping with the emotional challenges arising when auditioning for jobs in addition to expanding their positive professional identity and self-confidence. |
